Ultraproct®

Gastroenterology

ULTRAPROCT is a type of cortisone that is used to treat haemorrhoids, superficial anal fissures and proctitis.

There are three active ingredients in ULTRAPROCT which work to reduce the inflammation and pain associated with haemorrhoids, superficial anal fissures and proctitis.

  • There are two types of the steroid fluocortolone, these have anti-inflammatory, antiallergenic (anti-allergic) and antipruritic (anti-itch) properties.

  • The two fluocortolone ingredients start to take effect at different times, which means the result is fast acting as well as long lasting.

  • There is also the ingredient cinchocaine, which is a local anaesthetic, and this eases the pain.

ULTRAPROCT is available only with a doctor’s prescription and is fully funded. Please follow the instructions from your doctor with regard to how you should use ULTRAPROCT. Use strictly as directed.

ULTRAPROCT comes in two formulations to best suit your needs.

  • Ointment (30g)

  • Suppositories (12 pack)
